Amica Challenge:
Sales Report on Employee Recruitment Campaign

The Amica Sales Challenge at Elon University caught my eye, and I am proud that our employee recruitment campaign (pictured left) won 1st place in the challenge.

In conjunction with my partner Janay, I spearheaded both primary and secondary research into Generation Z and the motivations of current college students in applying for jobs.  The sales report included the following sections: 1) executive summary, 2) about Amica, 3) about Amica's Future Leaders program; 4) problem statement; 5) target audience; 6) student personas; 7) objectives and goals; 8) needs and benefits analysis; 9) proposed solutions; 10) costs; 11) action timetable; and 12) conclusion.  I was responsible for sections 1, 4-8, and 10-11. I developed both creative ideas outlined in the campaign, and I composed the writing for 14 of the 20 pages of the report and proof-read the entire report.

Class Project:
Digital Measurement Report on GE Balance the Equation

For my Strategic Research Methods course, I roleplayed General Electric's PR Director and prepared a research report (left) in preparation for launching the renowned GE Balance the Equation campaign.  The report includes the following sections: 1) objectives and goals; 2) audience; 3) timeframe for measurement; 4) key performance indicators; 5) metrics; 6) measurement tools; 7) conclusion; and 8) matrix.

Although this was a group project, I personally was responsible for the objectives and goals section, general editing, and the overall professional layout of the report (including the cover page).  The report ultimately received an A and became a website exemplar for future Strategic Research Methods students.

Class Project:
Research Report on Data Collection and Mining

For my Strategic Research Methods course, I decided to conduct research on the contemporary, controversial topic of data collection and mining.  I selected the U.S. Department of Homeland security as my pretend client.  The report includes the following sections: 1) background; 2) methodology; 3) research and survey questions; 4) data analysis and detailed findings; 5) implications and knowledge gained. 6) conclusion; and 7) limitations and future research.

Although this was a group project, I personally was responsible for the conclusion and implications and knowledge gained sections, general editing, and the overall professional layout of the report (including the cover page).  The report ultimately received an A and became a website exemplar for future Strategic Research Methods students.
